Campfire

Last night we enjoyed the fun of going somewhere to enjoy a campfire to cook dinner and smores. We even saw a deer at the sight just as we were walking into the sight.

With this being my first weekend off from school since January, we made a "date" of the weekend. We thought of going to the Duck Tape Festival (held every Father's Day weekend) but with the temperatures up just a tad too high and my whole heat/sun aversion we did not go... I do not think we will even try tonight when the sun goes down farther...

David has been working on my car. Thank you work, for providing the 5 days/week schedule so he can have weekends off most of the time. He found out he had to change the calipers as well as the rotors and pads... One more thing to be done. Always something. He has to find the time soon to be able to change out the shocks now (Yes, both cars). At least he has a friend who is willing to help with that one. And for those of you who do not know, we have the "same" car just a year off. Nissan Maxima. David's is a standard and mine is an automatic. His is older, and therefore gets the extra "abuse" that can accompany his work and scouting. This makes it easier for when he has to change something, because he then has had the ability to learn from the first and the second is much faster.

I wonder what will be for dinner? Something as cool as possible I would venture. Not much in that department though that is filling in our fridge. Maybe that is what we prepare for tomorrow... Cook it tonight and have it ready for tomorrow... Something to think about.
